Our youth are our future. Crossroads Southern Baptist Church takes this responsibility very seriously. We believe that if our children are well grounded in scripture, develop a deep love for God, develop positive relationships, and receive unconditional love, they will be much better prepared to meet life's challenges and be an asset to society their entire lives.
Children's Church
Crossroads Baptist Chuch has specific programming and teaching during the regular Sunday morning worship service for our children from age four through the third grade. This program teaches children Christian principles, provides a fun way of learning about God, and includes themed crafts which reinforce the day's lessons.
We also allow the children ample time to play in our outdoor, enclosed sport and play area near our lower parking lot area.
 
Nursery
We have staffed nursery facilities to care for infants and toddlers during Sunday School and Morning Worship times.
Varsity Youth Fellowship
As our children mature, there is a need to provide a supportive network of positive influences which will help them to make good choices and grow into productive young adults. Crossroads Baptist Church sponsors a youth group for adolescents from 6th through 12th grade that provides such an environment.
 
 
Youth involved in the Varsity Youth Fellowship have the opportunity to become involved in social activities, ministry opportunities, and learning experiences. Whether it is laser tag, skate boarding, short term missions opportunities, or helping senior adults in our own area, our youth learn to value each other and all of our community. AJ Skateboard Park Ministry
In cooperation with the Missions Committee, Crossroads Baptist Church reaches out to the local youth with a monthly Skateboard Park Ministry. On the third Saturday of each month, we meet at the AJ community skateboard park to cook hot dogs, provide snacks and drinks for the youth which frequents the park. We also are available to discuss concerns with the youth and provide God's plan of salvation to those who show interest in learning more about Christianity and our church.
